I grew up in beautiful Northern Michigan, in a small town known as Boyne City. I graduated from Boyne City High School in June 2009. After graduating, I was offered the position to coach Freshman Girls Volleyball at Boyne City High School. I took the offer and coached for two years, while attending North Central Michigan College (NCMC). I also ended up assistant coaching the Varsity Girls Soccer team at Boyne as well. I received my Associates of Science degree in May 2011 from NCMC and then transfer to GVSU to finish my education. After graduating from GVSU, I took an out-of-state job in Utah, where I have been teaching science for the Ogden School District. Furthermore, I have had several opportutinties to be involved in the community of my school. I coached the 7th & 8th grade Girls Volleyball team and assisted with the annual science fair.
My family is very important to me. I love spending time with my family. Every summer we spend the weekends at our cottage on Walloon Lake, enjoying each other's company and the beautiful nature of that surrounds us. I am very blessed to have the family that I have. I have two brothers, Cameron and Dylan. Cameron is 25 and a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University. Dylan is 11 and is in 6th grade and wants to be an NHL hockey player.
